The team is led by a highly regarded partner with deep experience in major engineering and infrastructure projects, supported by a collaborative and high-performing group of practitioners. The Role The successful candidate will work closely with the Construction Partner and broader team on a broad range of construction matters, including: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts, consultancy agreements and bespoke project documentation (including AS standard forms) Advising clients on procurement strategies, tender processes and contract structuring for major development and infrastructure projects Providing risk allocation and project delivery advice to principals, developers and contractors Advising on contract administration issues, including variations, extensions of time and delay claims Assisting with security of payment matters, adjudications, mediations and other dispute resolution processes Preparing strategic advice, evidence and briefing materials in relation to construction disputes and live project issues The Benefits Access to high-quality construction and infrastructure matters within a nationally respected practice A genuinely collaborative, supportive and down-to-earth team culture Clear career progression pathways with direct mentorship from senior practitioners Flexible and hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance Market-leading parental leave benefits, including 30 weeks’ paid leave and structured return-to-work support About You The successful candidate will demonstrate: 3–5 years’ post-admission experience in construction law, or a commercial/litigation background with a strong and demonstrated interest in construction law Experience advising on construction contracts, project delivery and/or disputes Strong drafting skills and sound technical capability Commercial judgement with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset Strong communication skills, effective time management and a collaborative approach If this role has piqued your interest or you are keen to find out more, please reach out to Sophie Page-Warr for a confidential discussion- sophie@spwlegalrecruitment.com.au or 0404234358
